About Us

What Is Gau Samman?

Gau Samman is a national institution for the preservation, protection, and promotion of indigenous Indian cows. We are evidence-based, mission-driven, and working at the intersection of ecology, economy, agriculture, and culture.

Important Points to Remember

The Gau Samman Aahvan Abhiyan operates under the following principles, and any affiliate, partner, or representative found acting contrary to these principles will be immediately disassociated.

Main Campaign Objective

Achieve a legal ban on indigenous cow slaughter and enforceable protection for all ICAR-NBAGR registered breeds.

This campaign does not operate under the banner of any institution or organisation. It takes place solely under the divine presence of God, Gau Mata, and Nandi Baba.

There is no single leader in this campaign. All Gau-loving saints, devotees, and workers across India participate as equals.

No photographs of any Acharya, saint, mahant, political leader, actor, or worker will appear on any poster, banner, or hoarding. Only images of Nandi Maharaj and Gau Mata will be printed.

This campaign is not against any political party, organisation, or State or Central Government. Its sole purpose is that Gau Mata receives service, protection, and respect.

This campaign is entirely non-violent. Anyone who incites damage to any national or private property will be kept completely away from this movement.

There will be no stage speeches and no microphone addresses in this campaign. Devotees will express themselves through Sankirtan, rallies, and petition letters.

No donations or contributions of any kind are being accepted for this campaign. If anyone solicits donations in the name of this campaign, report it immediately to 8239711008.

Three Key Demands to the Government

Declare Gau Mata as Rashtra Mata — National Mother (Grant Gau Mata her honour)

Enact a Central Law for the protection of cows across India

Completely end cow slaughter throughout the entire country

Why We Exist

Over 20 million indigenous cows are slaughtered in India every year. Each slaughter destroys a living soil system, a biogas unit, a source of A2 milk, a genetic library accumulated over thousands of years.

Gau Samman exists to stop this. Not with sentiment alone — but with science, law, economics, and the organised will of 10 million citizens.

Gau Samman is a movement of conscience. It accepts no donations, endorses no political party, and operates through voluntary participation alone.

Mission

Achieve a legal ban on indigenous cow slaughter and enforceable protection for all ICAR-NBAGR registered breeds.

Vision

An India where every indigenous cow lives in dignity, supports a circular rural economy, and is recognised as a national ecological asset.

Philosophy

Evidence-based, policy-focused, non-partisan, and rooted in the civilisational value of the indigenous cow.

Approach

Petition-driven civic pressure, scientific documentation, farmer education, goshala support, and direct legislative engagement.
